Ceann formed as an Irish Rock Band in Pittsburgh in 2005 with the release of their first album of all-original material "Almost Irish." Before that, Ceann was an acoustic trio that played Irish pub music across the northeast. Ceann continue to mix fun Irish music with their popular originals. While some of Ceann's songs revolve around the culture of being Irish Americans many of Ceann's most popular songs have distinctively more contemporary themes. They're songs appeal far beyond the normal reach of Irish music and have given them access to unprecedented markets for an Irish band. As one of the only Irish bands to find success on commercial radio, Ceann's fan base has grown as quickly outside of Irish music circles as quickly as it's grown within them. Their cross market appeal has allowed them to be featured at Irish festivals and at non-Irish music festivals to equal success. Ceann have also become one of the most sought after college music acts in the country. With the release of their album "Rave, Rant, Lose Pants" in June of 2007, Ceann's reach extended even further. The release of the album coincided with their song "Pretty On The Inside" being selected as the NPR song of the day. The overwhelming listener response led to the song subsequently being added to a large number of AAA radio play lists across the country. Their song "Blame the Viking" is being used as the theme song to an NPR radio program as well as it's inclusion in a motion picture soundtrack. In 2007 Ceann appeared on over 20 commercial radio stations across the northeast including Country, Classic Rock, Alternative, Talk Radio, and Top 40 radio stations. Ceann's tenacity and willingness to consistently average over 220 shows per year is one of the keys to their success and guarantees that Ceann remains one of the busiest bands in the country. Musically, Ceann have made a name for themselves as one of the most fun, entertaining and musically adventurous bands in the country. With their roots in Irish music, Ceann mix in modern musical styles and a cutting edge sense of humor that has won them fans across the globe.
STAND formed on the streets and schoolyards of Dublin, Ireland. No want ads, no third-party introductions. The band learned their first songs and spent the next two years rehearsing and performing continuously in clubs throughout Ireland and Europe. Two singles from their first CD entitled Correspondent appeared on Irish charts, one holding various Top 10 positions for two weeks. In mid-2002, having built a loyal fan base in Ireland, STAND played a sold-out show to 1200 fans at Vicar Street in Dublin and departed for America shortly thereafter. They’ve played at the SXSW, NXNW and CMJ Music Festivals and are mainstays on the New York City club circuit, playing regularly at the Bowery Ballroom, Mercury Lounge and Arlene’s Grocery. LFresh off performing at a St. Patrick's Day Presidential luncheon for President Bush and Ireland's Taoiseach Bertie Ahern, Scythian (sith-ee-yin) played kicked-up Celtic and world music with hints of gypsy and klezmer, all infused with a touch of punk-rock sensibility. Voted 2006 DC Fan Favorite by the Washington Area Music Association and two more nominations in 2007 for Best Contemporary Folk Group and Best Contemporary Folk Recording, 2007 proved to be a pivotal year in the band's career. They played 25 festivals, including SummerFest - where they shared the stage with GUSTER and opened for FLOGGING MOLLY at Shamrock Fest (DC). With the July 2007 release of their third album, Immigrant Road Show, Scythian has accumulated several nominations for their efforts, including a best song nod for Immigrant Stomp from CelticRadio.net, a spot in PaddyRock.com's Top 20 Albums of 2007 list, as well as the aforementioned nominations by the Washington Area Music Association. Brothers Oleksander ("Leks" - Violin/Mandolin/Harmonica/Bass/Vocals) and Danylo (Rhythm Guitar/Accordion/Vocals) Fedoryka, Josef Crosby (Joey - Violin/Bass/Vocals) and Mike Ounallah (Percussion/Drums) make up the powerhouse and talent of the group. All four are first-generation sons of immigrants and their music reflects their various backgrounds: The Fedorykas are 100% Ukrainian and come from a musical family, Crosby brings some of the Irish blood to the group being Irish/Austrian and Ounallah comes from a Jordanian/German/Irish background. This combination of ethnic origins is what makes Scythian The Immigrant Road Show.
Edible Red
is quickly becoming one of New York City’s most talked
about bands. An underground favorite, this crazy quintet
has enjoyed a rapidly expanding international fan base
thanks to exposure on The Learning Channel’s A Makeover
Story and a feature on the acclaimed Jeff Buckley tribute
CD Rusted Roses. Led by the sexy, soulful vocals of the
crimson coifed, firecracker of a front woman Collette,
this group is supported by Dave Eggar (Sinead O’Connor,
Roger Daltry, P. Diddy), Mark Gianotti, bassist Marty
Osterer (Ja Rule/Jennifer Lopez-I’m Real, MC Hammer) and
Tom Papadatos (Jennifer Marks). This power alt-pop-pseudo-psychedelic
bunch serve up delightfully digestible yet thought provoking
anthems that will rock the new millennium. As the group
continues to cultivate its diehard, if cultish international
following through TV and radio, keep your ears open for
edible red underscoring a steamy teenage love scene on
MTV’s Undressed later this year. More Red at: www.ediblered.com
When one thinks of a native New Yorker, one doesn’t think of a banjo-rock god. Andrew Vladeck, a founding member of The Honey Brothers, has a solo project in which he puts an alternative, indie spin on various vintage instruments. A former NYC Urban Park Ranger, Vladeck plays banjo, guitar, ukulele, and harmonica – and writes songs that have the sharp and quick wit of a kid who cut his chops playing odd instruments on subway platforms. Vladeck won First Place in the 2007 International Songwriting Competition and was recently voted NYC Band of the Month.
Freestyle Love
Supreme is a stage show like no other. Five performers
take the audience on a non-stop, hip-hop improv ride.
FLS uses audience suggestions to spontaneously combust
into musical creations inspired by jazz, improvisational
comedy and hip-hop. They’ve been called a hip-hop version
of Recycled Percussion. They were selected for the 2007
Montreal Just For Laughs Comedy Festival, the Melbourne
Comedy Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival as well
as performing with Paula Poundstone and Flight of the
Conchords. See Freestyle Supreme combine vocal beats,
sound effects, soulful harmonies and free-flowing rhymes.
Melbourne’s The Age says “They are a five-man performance
ensemble of motormouth rappers, accomplished musicians,
dark and stylish Broadway crooners and an unassuming guy
who goes by the name Shockwave, who uses his mouth like
a sound-effects program that no computer could possibly
match for depth of stored data or instantaneous retrieval.”
The result - sublimely funny, wholly original, never to
be repeated hip-hop gems. For more info, go to www.freestylelovesupreme.com

Kevin represents John Lennon to perfection and he’ll completely
make you believe that John is still right here with us.
His looks, voice, and even his personality are so amazingly
“John”! Marty is a natural at portraying George Harrison,
not only duplicating those amazing guitar solos note for
note, but also George’s unique vocal style. Louise was moved
to tears the first time she saw Marty’s true-to-life performance
as her brother, and in a recent private meeting with Sir
Paul McCartney, she introduced Marty as “my new adopted
baby brother!” Davey Justice has portrayed Paul McCartney
on five different continents! As a member of the famous
“Legends in Concert” show in Las Vegas, he has garnered
worldwide respect as one of the foremost impersonators of
Sir Paul.
Joe Bologna is a world class drummer and is able to completely
duplicate Ringo’s unorthodox drumming, vocals, and fun loving
personality. Joe has toured the world as Ringo Starr with
The Cast Of Beatlemania and Backbeat “The Tribute”.
Together, these four lads as Liverpool Legends will bring
you the “Ultimate Beatles Experience!”
